Those patients who wish to claim osteopathy treatment on their health insurance are strongly advised to contact their provider prior to booking an appointment to ensure they will be able to make a claim.
Certain providers require practitioners to be registered with them for patients to be able to claim treatment. Currently I am registered with WPA Health. Some providers such as Simply Health and Medicash do not require practitioner registration. It is still advised that you enquire with your insurance provider first to ensure you will be covered.
Unfortunately, I do not accept the following providers: BUPA, AXA PPP, Aviva and Pru Health. This is due to these providers having a flat fee that is not in line with my own fees and usually do not allow for patients to pay excess.
Please note that patients wanting to use insurance to cover their treatment must pay for their treatments upfront and then claim back through their insurance for which I can provide a receipt of payment. I do not directly invoice insurance companies.
